If you are planning to travel out of O'Hare airport in the near future, you may want to adjust your holiday plans slightly.

The bad news is that 500 O'Hare employees have announced that will go on strike, the good news is that striking workers announced that they will delay the start of the strike until Tuesday November 29th, according to a report by the Chicago Tribune.

The walk out involves members of Service Employees International Union. members include:

  • baggage handlers
  • cabin cleaners
  • janitors
  • wheelchair attendants

The strike does not include airline employees or airport restaurant workers.

Thanksgiving weekend is traditionally one of the busiest travel times of the year at the country's busiest airport.
