St. Patrick’s Day Parade In Downtown Rockford This Weekend.

This weekend, everyone will be a little Irish thanks to The Irish Marching Society of Rockford. It's that time of year for their annual parade and party. Here are the details.

Get ready to celebrate the first green of Spring with Rockford's Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade starting at 3:00pm in downtown Rockford at 7th St. and 5th Avenue this Saturday, March 14.

After the big parade, there will be more celebrating with the annual St Patrick's Day Party hosted by The Irish Marching Society of Rockford at the Rockford Brewing Company after the parade, at approximately 4:30pm. There will be a kids area with a clown and activities. The Bagpipes, Irish Dancers, Scottish Dancers and Gaelic Furry will be there to entertain us. Dirty Fishnet Stockings will play from 9:00pm till midnight. Various rooms will have entertainment and vendors.

Check out the Irish Marching Society website to view all the entertainment and buy your tickets in advance at $8 per person, $25 for family of 4 to assure you can be a part of the fun at this annual fundraiser.
