If you use Sprint for your phone service in Illinois, you might be entitled to a refund.

32,000 Illinois Sprint customers have checks waiting for them.  Sprint has agreed to payout $2.3 million and has provided the names of 32,000 customers who are owed the cash.. Illinois Treasurer Michael Frerichs announced the payout on Monday in press release

The refunds are for Sprint customers who did not cash rebate checks that were sent to them between 2003 and 2011. Consumers who had Sprint service, will need to go to the State Treasurer's ICASH website, and enter their name and search.

Frerichs said:

The agreement resolves disputed claims in ongoing litigation, and there has been no finding of wrongdoing on the part of Sprint.
It's worth a try. Hey, while your at it, you can also search the website to see if the State Of Illinois owes you any money
