If you're a big movie fan and can't wait for Sunday's Oscar Award Show, you will notice that something will look a little different  this year.

According to this ABC7 Chicago story, Oscar, the gold statue, is getting a make over. The makers of the statue, Polich Tallix Foundry, is looking to past to give him a new look.

The statue will look more like how it did in 1920's. It will be cast in bronze and plated in 24 carat gold. The gold that they're using is the same gold they use on equipment for NASA. It's heavy duty stuff.

Now that's pretty cool.

You'll see Oscar's new look on ABC this Sunday, February 28th with live coverage of the red carpet starting at 5pm.
