Snow Rolls! Do you have these? Absolutely fascinating

Sounds like a tasty part of my healthy diet.....Well, not quite. With an near record snowfall total for the month of January here in Rockford, some people have witnessed Snow Rolls

It's Mother Nature's way of messing with your mind. Yes, old man winter is rolling up snowballs...all by himself. Snow rolls happen when the wind catches snow on sloping ground under the right conditions of temperature, humidity, and wind speed. Rolls can also be formed due to gravity if there is some disturbance such as snow falling off a tree.

Have you ever witnessed some of these...yes, they can get big!
