Looking for away to lose weight and lower your BMI?

Then snack on peanuts to fight obesity.

Well snack on them, that is if you're not allergic to them.

I came across this study through WGN that said "snacking on peanuts 3 to 4 times a week could lower your BMI (Body Mass Index).

According to "Researchers from the University of Houston, Baylor College of Medicine, and Texas Woman’s University followed 257 Latino adolescents" for six months. One group snacked on peanuts  three to four times and the other group snacked once on peanuts. Those that snacked on them more "reduced their BMI more than twice as much as the other group."

This means you can snack on the nut itself or have peanut butter and fight obesity at the same time. Now that is good news.
