Oh my gosh, this is so sweet almost to the teary eye level.

Nurses are heroes in my book and what this nurse does to help this young patient with cancer by singing to her, takes the cake of going beyond the call of duty.

Wow! that gives me the feel good kinds of tears. What Nurse Brandon Waterhouse has done for little Sophia is beyond the word awesome.

Helping such a little one feel better going through something that she can hardly comprehend is a wonderful gift to give.

I'm getting the goosebumps just writing this.

Nurse Brandon singing to Sophia. It's beautiful to see this and it shows that he loves his career. Making children smile one at a time. Keep on singing!

I hate cancer. I hate that it effects children. It's just not fair. Kids deserve to live and not face these types of fears. We need more people like Brandon Waterhouse to help these kids deal with this nasty disease.

By the way coming up March 3rd and 4th we have a wonderful way for you to help fight and find a cure for childhood cancer. Join Q98.5 for the Country Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon.

Also in the weeks leading up to the radiothon, you can purchase a Q for St. Jude at any one of the Illinois Bank & Trust locations here in the stateline.

The Q's are just a buck and everyone that is purchased will go towards the radiothon in March!

You can get them at the following Illinois Bank & Trust locations:

- Riverside and Perryville

- Harrison Ave (West of Mulford Rd.)

- East State Street (just West of Alpine Rd.)

- Route 173 in Machesney Park (East of Alpine Rd.)

By the way if you want to know how easy and quick it is to buy a Q for St. Jude, watch the video below. I made last year at this time.

And as always thank you for your support!
