Honey Dijon Chicken with a Kick.
I made this the other day and thought it was tasty, yet a spicy twist with a regular baked chicken breast.
The other great thing about it, was it was easy to make and I had all the ingredients on hand.
Next time If I make it I will forgo the red pepper flakes or use half of what it calls for. I thought the spicy flakes masked the sweet flavor of the honey dijon.
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
Bake in the preheated oven until the juices run clear and chicken is no longer pink inside, about 40 minutes. An instant-read meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of a breast should read at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
