Next Monday is the solar eclipse. Do you know where you'll be to see it?

How about seeing it at no charge at a special solar eclipse block party?

DNA Info shared that the Adler Planetarium in Chicago is offering a free viewing of the solar eclipse during their big block party they have set up for next Monday, august 21st.

"Admission will also be free Monday inside the Adler at 1300 S. Lake Shore Drive. It's celebrating the rare phenomenon by handing out safety glasses and blowing up a big bounce house on its lawn for the first total solar eclipse visible from the United States since 1979."

While you're at the block party you can see the exhibit "Chasing eclipses". They'll also be offering their regular sky show for $5 and a special eclipse show for $2 inside the planetarium.

Their eclipse block part begins at 9:30AM and will wrap up around 1:19PM right after the eclipse has happened.

How cool is that?

I so wish I could do this, but i have to be at work.

I love the planetarium's sky show.

Mark this momentous occasion with this cool party, because the next time another solar eclipse will be this close to us is 2099.

Umm... Yeah, I'll be like over 124 years old more likely dead by then. Ha!
