Search For Missing Stateline Man, Your Help is Needed

Your help is needed to find a missing man here in the Stateline area. Law enforcement and search crews have been searching the area near Annie Glidden Road and Route 72 in northern DeKalb County near Kirkland today after authorities located an abandoned pickup truck of a missing DeKalb man.

DeKalb Police Department is looking for assistance in locating Steven Schulz. Steven is 23 and resides in DeKalb. Steven was last seen in DeKalb on July 6th, 2014. Steven’s family and friends are concerned because they have not spoken with Steven in several days. He was reported missing late Monday night by his family.

The Daily Chronicle reports that

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office was contacted about Schulz early Tuesday morning, Deputy Chief Gary Dumdie said. They determined that an unattended pickup truck found early Monday on Annie Glidden north of Route 72 near a bridge in that area belonged to Schulz.

 

"With [Schulz] missing and us locating the truck, we came back and are attempting a search of the area," Dumdie said. "At this point, we don't have a lot of details. There is a person missing, and we located his truck."
