Scratching Sound in Woman’s Ear Leads to Horrifying Discovery

When a Chinese woman by the name of Li Meng began hearing "scratching" noises in her ear she feared she was sick or possessed by evil spirits. Once finding out the truth, I'm not sure what's worse.

I am also now afraid to take a hike in the woods, because according to the Chinese news outlet, TaiHaiNet.com, that is how doctors believe Li Meng received this very unwelcome guest.

To make it even worse, the spider's removal was more difficult than expected because it reacted violently (OMG!) to the medical teams first attempts to retrieve it. It eventually took subduing the spider with anesthetic to effectively remove it. (Totally barfing now.)

Li Meng, I am glad you are now spider-less, but my God I am traumatized just hearing your story.  Get yourself some good ear-muffs, girl!
