Santa Arriving At Area Malls This Weekend

I'm still putting away Halloween decorations around my house, and here comes Santa Claus. The Jolly Old Elf arrives in three are malls this weekend. Here's where.

The clock is ticking, the Christmas traditions are beginning at area malls.

Santa Claus is set to kick-off the holiday season Friday, Nov. 6 at CherryVale Mall.

Santa's annual arrival is the unofficial kick-off to the holiday shopping season here in the Rockford area and according to 13 WREX they "will be airing Jolly Old St. Nick's big entrance this coming Friday".

Members of the Salvation Army as they kick-off their annual Red Kettle campaign at the same time.

Also, Santa is getting a jump on the holidays in the suburbs. He arrived Thursday at Woodfield and Orland Square malls.

According to ABC 7 Chicago, "New this year at Woodfield: parents can skip the lines and reserve a spot online for $10 bucks".

You can't stop the arrival of the Holidays, but it really is "beginning to look a lot like Christmas Every Where You Go".

I better go stand in line now.
