That's one hot phone...and that's not good.

Samsung is will reportedly recall it's new Note 7 phone due to numerous reports of the phone catching on fire. Overheated batteries have been reported and in some cases the phones caught fire and exploded.

This is plain scary. One dissatisfied user went so far as to post a video of the burnt phone on Youtube. In the video, you can see the screen burnt and partially melted.

It's advised that all cellphone users do not sleep with a cell phone in bed or near your head for this very reason, you can only imaging what could have happened if this Samsung cell phone owner was not paying attention when the fire broke out.

Sales of the phone will be discontinued immediately.

CNN is reporting that Samsung located the the problem in the phone's battery compartment. Owners of the phone should take their phone back to the point of purchase for a replacement.
