The excitement is in the air as Wednesday night marks the Cubs Wild Card game to the World Series.

I wouldn't have asked for better person to help rally the Cubs than Ryne Sandberg.

DNAInfo reports that Cubs #23, Ryne Sandberg will be at Harry Caray's Italian Restuarant this Wednesday morning along with Harry Cary's widow, Dutchie, for a pregame rally from 5am to 10am pregame rally at 33 W. Kinzie St.

The rally is free and open to all. Along with meeting Ryne Sandberg (one of the best second baseman in Cubs history in my opinion), there will also be glove that former Cubs outfielder Moises Alou used to almost catch the "Bartman foul ball" in 2003 National League Championship Series, as well as the 1969 glove Ernie Banks used, the "last out" ball from the 1945 World Series, and a "hoverboard" from "Back to the Future Part II." Yes a hoverboard from the 1989 film that showed the Cubs won the World Series in 2015.

Just makes you want to sing "Go Cubs Go" now doesn't it.

Good luck Cubbies, we Illinoisian's are behind you all the way.

Catch the game this Wednesday night at 7pm as the Cubs are in Pittsburgh against the Pirates.
