Rockford’s Tebala Event Center Hosting First Ever Wedding Garage Sale

There's a new event coming to the Tebala Event Center on Newburg Road this March that is perfect for any future or past bride. 

Here's the thing about planning weddings. Every couple tries to pull off the day of their dreams the most affordable way possible, but the fact is you still end up spending a lot of money on things you probably will never use again.

For me, I had to have these certain tall vases for floral arrangements on all of my reception tables, and thought it was cheaper to do them on my own. I did get them all for a fantastic price, and have used a lot of them for different holiday decorations and loaned them out for several different weddings, but at the end of the day, I still have boxes full of vases sitting in my basement. The moral of this story? I should take my boxes of vases and other leftover decorations to the Wedding Garage Sale at the Tebala on March 10, 2016.

Here's the details you need to know about Tebala's inaugural Wedding Garage Sale:

• When - Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 6 to 9 p.m.
• Where - Tebala Event Center at 7910 Newburg Road in Rockford
• How it works - Former brides can sell their new and gently used wedding items for a fee of $10. Future brides can attend for free and shop the night away.
