Rockford’s Alpine Hills Snow Park to Open Wednesday

If there is any good side to all the frigid weather and snow that Rockford has been enduring lately it's this; conditions are finally right for the Snow Park at Alpine Hills to officially open for the 2016/2017 season!

If you've never been to the Snow Park at Alpine Hills before, you should try it this week after it officially opens on Wednesday, December 21. This 5-acre park is split into a separate tubing hill and a terrain park section for snowboarders and skiers of all abilities. Everyone in your family will have fun at this park where the on-site snow making equipment always keeps the hills in perfect shape for wintry fun!

The Snow Park at Alpine Hills will be open (weather permitting) Thursdays and Fridays from 5 to 9 p.m.; Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from Noon to 8 p.m. They will also be open during the week with special holiday hours while the kiddos are on Christmas break.
