When it comes to eats, everyone has their opinion. There are tons of places to grab some great tasting grub, some are better than others.

The website OpenTable, an online restaurant-reservation service, sifted through thousands of  users’ reviews to determine what restaurants are the best based on region of the country. So, I thought I'd delve into our neck of the woods for the list of the Rockford's best.

The website used the following criteria to make it's findings:

  • Food
  • Ambiance
  • Service
  • How often a particular restaurant has been booked through the site

NOTE: The restaurants were not ranked in any particular order and most are sit-down restaurants

Here are the Rockford Area's 6 Best Restaurants

  • Alchemy at Giovanni’s
  • Josef Barbados Steakhouse & Oyster Bar
  • Franchesco’s
  • Vito’s Ristorante
  • Green Fire
  • The Flight Deck Bar and Grill, Rochelle

So, tell me, what's missing from the list that should be on there.
