Rockford Town Fair to Bring Music, Rides To Speedway
Summer is going to be a whole lot more fun in the Rockford area this year. Rockford's New Country Q98.5 is excited to announce the inaugural Rockford Town Fair July 6-10 at Rockford Speedway in Loves Park.
The Rockford Town Fair, presented by SwedishAmerican, a division of UW Health; is a family-friendly, multi-day event featuring a full midway with more than 20 rides, including fair favorites the YoYo, Zero Gravity, Remix, Haunted Mansion and the Giant Ferris Wheel. Completing the midway will be fun games and great “fair” food.
The Fair will also offer daily entertainment including Stunt Dog Shows, Chainsaw Carvers, BMX Exhibitions, Pig Racing, Balloon Rides, a Petting Zoo and Kids Zone.
On Friday and Saturday nights, July 8 and 9, respectively, the Fair will feature live music from both legendary and up-and-coming country and rock musicians. On Friday night, rockers Eddie Money and Candlebox will take the stage, while Saturday is country night with Sammy Kershaw, Lindsay Ell, JT Hodges and Logan Brill performing.
Entrance to the Fair is free with complimentary tickets available at Rockford area Wendy’s restaurants. (For a list of locations, click HERE). Admission tickets will be $1 at the gate.
Parking will be available on site for $5 per car. Additionally, $15 advance tickets for the live performances and $20 advance unlimited ride passes are on sale now at rockfordtownfair.com.
