Schools, principals and superintendents all over the country have jumped on the fun-snow-day-announcement video bandwagon, and now it's Rockford's turn.

I know what you're thinking..."umm, isn't this a little late? Kids don't have a snow day today...", but there's a good reason some teachers at Maud E. Johnson Elementary School in Rockford jumped on the bandwagon late. They wanted to create something fun to welcome kids back to school with after the Polar Vortex, and I think they knocked it out of the park...

Rockford's teachers really do rock, don't ya think?!?

Big thanks to Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Dobbs, Mrs. Lang, Mr. Clark and Mr. Duso at Johnson Elementary School for putting a big smile on our faces this morning. We can't wait to see what you come up with next Polar Vortex!
