An anniversary is being celebrated in Rockford and it is one that many people would not like to go to.

WTVO TV has a report about the three year anniversary of the Roundabout being built at Auburn and Main. The reason for it was to reduce traffic and to make things safer at the intersection.

Three years later, that has not happened. According to the story, there have been 86 accidents reported in 2014, 91 in 2015 and so far this year there have been 71 accidents.

When you take a look at the picture above, you can see how confusing it could be. I was confused when I first moved here and went somewhere using this road. I almost saw an accident happen and that was in the first week.

Local businesses are forming their own opinion. Some are holding their breath each day wondering when the next accident will happen.

What is your opinion on the roundabout? Do you avoid it or do you think it is a good thing?
