Watch for the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corp in the 4th of July Parade in downtown Rockford. They are the perfect ambassadors for Rockford year after year.
This past Sunday, the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corp scored it's highest score of the season in Minnesota. They were edged out by the always classy 'Cavaliers' of Rosemont.

If you have ever seen a drum and bugle show, you know the organizations that 'bring it' ever year. The Madison Scouts, The Blue Stars of La Cross, Cots from Dubuque, The Pioneers of Milwaukee, and the pride of Rockford, The Phantom Regiment.

Every show has pageantry, perfection, crescendos and a strong drum line.  Win or lose, whenever I see a show, I appreciate the hard work the Regiment sacrifices to achieve perfect timing, elegant showmanship, and spot on musicianship. I always end up saying "how did they do that? That was incredible." after a performance.

The Phantom Regiment will be in competition this week in Kansas and Iowa before returning home to Rockford to march in the 4th of July parade this Friday, July 4.

Thank you Phantom Regiment. Thank you. Be proud Rockford.
