Rockford Park District Offering New Internship For High Schoolers
If you know a high school student between the ages of 16 and 18 years old who aspires to work in marketing, public relations, sports programming or a similar field, the Rockford Park District has the perfect program for them starting this summer.
The Park District is accepting applications now through April 20, 2018 for their new summer internship program. According to the Park District's website, summer interns will have;
the chance to gain experience and build upon their educational foundation while working within a specific area of the Rockford Park District. Internships could include areas of Marketing/Public Relations, Horticulture/Maintenance, Aquatics Facilities Operations, Sports Programming, and Customer Experience.
Ready for the best part? These new interns will get paid $10/hour!
Qualification for the internship include:
- Working an 8 week internship
- Open availability including nights and weekends.
- Good communication, organization and computer skills.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and be an effective team player.
