Rockford Kids’ Consignment Store Closing This May

Any parent knows keeping young kids in clothes is a tough and expensive job. They grow quickly, destroy them fast, and spending a lot of money on each season's wardrobe is just silly. That is why awesome consignment and resale shops like Bearly Worn Trading Post by the Cherryvale Mall are so essential, but unfortunately, Rockford is losing another one this May.

I must admit my heart broke a little when I read this posting on the Bearly Worn Trading Post's Facebook page the other day...

I'm so disappointed to see this store go not only because you could get cute kids clothes at low prices, but also because they were a great supporter of local causes and artisans. The store features a section of locally made kids accessories and goodies to show support for Rockford Etsy sellers; something I wish more local businesses would do as well.

Bearly Worn, I'm sad to see you go, and will be coming in for a shopping spree very soon!
