Rockford Gas Prices Drop

This is always good news when the words gas prices and lower are reported. Especially during the busy driving months of Summer.

According to our news partner WTVO, the price of gas has dropped seven cents in the Rockford area. Residents can expect to pay $2.48  Which will be perfect for the projected 43 million people who will be taking the road over the 4th of July weekend.

What are people around the state paying? That would be one cent less at $2.47.

But I have even better news. While the vote in Great Britain to leave the EU caused the stock market to crash and everyone's 401K to take a nose dive, it also caused oil prices world wide to also fall. That means gas prices are expected to drop even more. I am not sure that we are ever going to see gas for less than a dollar, but one can only hope.
