As a parent, I am in love with Rockford's Discovery Center Museum, and apparently I am not alone. 

The Discovery Center Museum is a true Rockford gem. I love that on a day when my 3-year-old is ready to climb the walls and is trying my every last nerve, we can venture downtown to the Discovery Center and make a bad day a super fun day real quick. Kids love the Discovery Center, and parents love that the kids are learning amidst all their fun and not even know it.

With over 250 hands-on activities for kids to enjoy, and several cool family activities and events planned each month, it's no surprise that the Discovery Center Museum found itself among the top museums in the Midwest according to way2goodlife.com.
