My mother always told me, "if you have nothing nice to say, just say nothing at all", so I will just say this; Rockford Aldermen passed the South New Towne plat last night, but not until after they voiced their disapproval of the project proposal.

The plat was passed 7-5 last night after deferring the decision 3 previous times. City council members admit that they felt the city was backed into a corner and had no choice but to approve the plat to be in compliance with zoning codes.

Anyone else see a lot of protesting in Rockford's future?
