Rockford Child Fighting For Her Life

There has to be an end to all of this madness. Especially when kids are a victim of this senseless violence.According to our news partner WTVO, a girl is in a Rockford hospital in critical condition after she suffered multiple gunshot wounds during a car-to-car shooting Sunday afternoon.

According to the story:

"Witnesses told them a dark colored coupe with heavily tinted windows appeared to be chasing after a tan vehicle when a man in the dark colored car opened fire, hitting the girl who was standing nearby.  They reported hearing at least seven shots, and the girl was reportedly hit several times.  Both vehicles then fled the scene, and the girl was rushed to a nearby hospital."

The crime took place around 7th Avenue and 12th Street around 3 PM.

After everything that took place in Baton Rouge, enough is enough. When is all of this going to stop? If it isn't the police being targeted, now innocent kids are caught in the crossfire.
