Wired Cafe in downtown Rockford invites you to help them celebrate their fifth anniversary this Friday!

If you love coffee then I think you're going to want to check out this quaint cafe in Rockford's blossoming downtown area.

Wired Cafe opened in July 2010 by the mother/daughter trio, Crystal Douglas, Shanna Hill and Maggie Douglas. In this Rock River Times article, they said that due to recent developments and events like First Fridays and City Market have been a really strong boost for theirs and all the downtown businesses and has increased a lot of foot traffic.

They're inviting all to help celebrate their fifth anniversary this Friday with "Park in the Alley" with live music by Paper Airplane from 6-9 p.m., art by Alpaca’s Strike Again will be on display, the kitchen will remain open for food until 8 p.m. and a cash bar will be available provided by Kyrptonite.

Wired Cafe is located at 414 E. State St.
