Let's face it, Applebee's doesn't want to screw up a good thing, so they've decided to keep it around just a bit longer.

When Applebee's launched Dollaritas in October, the public went nuts. People went to the restaurant more often than previous October's.

So they brought it back in April and we can only presume customers showed up again in droves, that's why they're extending it.

According to Delish, Patrick Kirk VP of beverage innovation at Applebee's said: "it's (Dollaritas) been such a big hit with our guests that we're keeping it around for Cinco de Mayo when folks have margaritas on their minds."

That's not all, Applebee's is eyeing the beer drinking crowd too. A 10 ounce Dos Equis Lager and Ambar will only cost two bucks throughout the entire month.

There are two Applebee's locations in Rockford, 1675 East Riverside Road and 6845 East State Street.

Participation varies, so there is no telling if the Rockford locations will go in on the deal.
