Road Ranger Robbed In Rockford

Road Ranger at 5330 East State Street in Rockford was robbed today, Monday, September 22, around 11:00 am. Here is the latest.According to our news partner WTVO, Police say an employee left the gas station's store with a bag of cash.  The suspect then ran up to her - pushed her to the ground and grabbed the money bag.

The suspect then ran to a white SUV in the Aldi's parking lot just north of the Road Ranger and drove away.  He was last seen headed west on State Street.

Police describe the suspect with a medium/brown complexion, tight shoulder length dreadlocks, and facial hair.  He is 30 years old and was seen wearing a black jacket.

The getaway vehicle is similar to a Chevrolet Tahoe, a 90s model 2 door SUV with no license plates.
