Q98.5 Pet of the Week; Smokey

Today is National Mutt Day, a day to celebrate, save and embrace mixed breed dogs, and even though today's pet of the week isn't necessarily a mutt, he is still a lonely heart in need of a loving home.

Smokey is an eleven year old Australian Cattle Dog (a.k.a Blue Heeler) who is super friendly and loves nothing more than to be petted and loved. He nuzzled right up to me the moment I sat on the floor to greet him, and then proceeded to give me many sweet kisses.

It absolutely breaks my heart that such a sweet dog like Smokey has no home to call his own. Please stop into Winnebago County Animal Services today and adopt Smokey for just $55. It will be the best thing you could do all week.
