Today is the day! The annual Q98.5 12 Hours of Salvation Toy Drive kicks off at 5 a.m. and runs through 7 p.m. tonight at Lou Bachrodt Automall. We need your help!

Each year, Q98.5 hosts our annual toy drive in conjunction with WREX TV, the Salvation Army and Pepsi. Our mission is to help out those families less fortunate in the Stateline Area.

You can help, please bring out a new, unwrapped toy for a little boy and girl, and place it under our Christmas Tree. Last year, Q98.5 listeners collected over 10,000 new toys for children and thousands of dollars in The Salvation Army Red Kettle.

Check out a video tour by Q98.5's Mark Charvat of the toys we collected last year.

The best part of the day is at the end of the day when an army of volunteers loads boxes with all the toys collected into a huge semi truck. It is truly an amazing sight. You can only imagine the smile on faces of the children who will receive these wonderful gifts.
