Jonny J and I had the pleasure of visiting "Simply Spring: The Butterfly Exhibit" at Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens over the weekend, and it is definitely something you need to check out with the entire family!

One of my favorite things to do on a beautiful day in Rockford is to take a bike ride or nice long walk along the river in Sinnissippi Park. This adventure also usually includes a stop at the gorgeous Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens. To me, there is nothing quite as relaxing as surrounding yourself in the feel of the tropics, listening to the soft flow of water, all while watching the swimming koi fish.

What's even cooler is that right now at Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens you can surround yourself in butterflies! It's such cool experience, and the kids will love it! Plus, they will learn cool stuff about butterflies, all while having fun. Added bonus!

Here's some pics and video of our experience at "Simply Spring: The Butterfly Exhibit."
