If creating a unique jack-o-lantern is your goal this Halloween, forget the knives,  grab a gun, find a safe area, and shoot creatively. Here's how you do it.

Kirsten Joy Weiss is a pro shooter known for performing cool trick shots with her gun, but she decided to take it to the next level and use a gun to "carve" her Halloween pumpkin this year. Obviously, this technique is not recommended for everyone, especially if you like your jack-o-lantern to look perfect, but it is pretty cool to watch.

I tried to talk Steve Summers into trying this technique with a BB Gun, but my attempt at persuasion failed miserably. Probably smart to refuse on his part. Safety first, kids!

However you choose to carve your pumpkins this year, please do it safely. The Consumer Products Safety Agency says that more than half of the 4,400 Halloween injuries that occur yearly are from pumpkin carving accidents.
