Power Outages in the Stateline After Storms Sweep Through Area

The Stateline area experienced a swath of storms from minor to heavy Monday evening. As a result many areas are without power this evening. Commonwealth Edison is reporting many power outages around the area. As of 6:50pm, more than 4,000 homes are in the dark.

If you plan to travel this evening, be extra vigilant, as there have been reports of some downed power lines. If you encounter downed power lines, steer clear and report them to Com-Ed by calling 1-800- 334-7661.
