Pizza Hut is giving a new meaning to ordering your pizza "To Go".

When you order a pizza "to go" from Pizza Hut your pizza will literally be made on the go.

The Daily Herald shares that Pizza Hut wants to bring their pizza oven closer to your door through their partnership with Toyota. They will be deploying specially fitted Toyota Tundra trucks with robots in the truck bed that will make your "to go" pizza on the go within 6 to 7 mins. This way your pizza will be hot every time it reaches your home.

Pizza Hut's chief customer and operations officer, Nicole Burquier, says that the pizza chain is "pretty obsessed with improving the customer experience. The more we can get closer to their homes or the point of delivery, the better and hotter the product will be."

Their reasoning for doing this is to boost their "lagging delivery performance and [to] reach customers beyond their sit-down destinations."

They haven't set a target date as to when the pizza making trucks will hit the streets, but it must be coming soon.

Be on the lookout Rockford a pizza making truck will be cruising your neighborhood before you know it.
