Pig Minds is Expanding

If you're a big fan of Pig Minds beer or even their vegan dishes, this is really great news.

The restaurant brewery is getting ready to expand.

The Rockford Register Star reports that the owner, Brian Endl, just announced that coming this July his plan is for Pig Minds to break ground to add an additional 6,000 square foot at their current location.

Endl said  that "We’re basically expanding the production....We’re also building a tap room so we have more room for events and space to rent out if someone wants to host a birthday party or something.”

The brewery started back in 2012 and about a year and a half ago started distributing their beer beyond their eatery brewery. With this expansion they will be adding a line for canning their beers as they have had a huge success selling in the Chicago markets.

I think that is so great. I love to see it when local businesses growing and offering more things for the community.
