Partially Eaten Burger Lands Chicago Man in Prison
In the file of "what are you thinking", a Chicago man is now behind bars for years after he did something that you wouldn't think would get him in so much trouble.
According to WBBM TV Channel 2, there had been a string of robberies that took place at banks that were located in Kalamazoo County, which is located in Michigan. Dominick T. Johnson was the getaway driver for all three. He had his half brother, Nathan Benson, right by his side.
This is where it gets crazy. During one of the robberies, Dominick decided to throw away a partially eaten burger close to the scene. Investigators were able to pull DNA from the tasty treat.
If there is one thing I learned from watching Law and Order SVU, you never ever leave your DNA on anything during the scene of the crime. Dumb criminals will also be caught. Johnson will be spending the next 72 years in prison for being the mastermind behind the robberies.
It can be an offense if you throw things out of your vehicle. Littering can land you a hefty fine. In this case, it landed one man many years of not getting to eat fast food anymore.
