Even redevelopment of terminal parking will be taking place during Midway Airport's capital improvement project.

Over $400 million will be spent to make many improvements to Chicago's Midway Airport. According to wgntv.com, a grand opening for an entirely new hall took place earlier this week, that will feature over 70 new places to eat and shop. Word is that some of these new places will be "iconic favorites." The expansion is scheduled to open in 2020 and will have created more than 1,000 concession jobs.

Part of this capital improvement project will not only make needed changes to terminal parking but also improve security checkpoints.
