Opening Dates for Rockford Area Apple Orchards

Some people may think I am jumping the gun on this, but I am ready for all things Fall. My mouth is already watering for cider donuts, and the good new is we only have a few more weeks to wait to satisfy those cravings!

• Valley Orchard in Cherry Valley - Open now for berry picking and other seasonal favorites.
• Curran's Orchard - Open now for cherry picking.
• Edward's Apple Orchard West in Winnebago - Opening Friday, August 26. (We are assuming the location in Poplar Grove opens on the same day, although nothing has officially been posted on their Facebook page.)
• The Pumpkin Patch - Opening September 15, and currently hiring for seasonal help.

Keep in mind that all of our Fall favorites like cider donuts and pumpkins aren't quite ready for us to enjoy yet, but will be soon! This just gives an excuse to visit our favorite local orchards over and over again until they are ready.
