Sugar Britches' homemade chocolates, caramels and other delicious treats fastly became a favorite at this summer's Rockford City Market, and soon we'll be able to enjoy the yummyness all year long in Rockton!

Ready for your sweet tooth to do a little happy dance?

Sugar Britches is opening a store front on Saturday, December 5 at 115 W Main Street in Rockton, and they hope it will add some additional small-town charm to downtown Rockton.

Owner Jodi May recently told the Rockford Register Star;

"The intent all along was to open a candy store in downtown Rockton, I love the area and I want something in the downtown that's going to stay there."

May also promised the store will feature "all the candies you remember from your childhood" including Mary Janes, root beer barrels, hand-crafted chocolates, salted caramels, peanut brittle and many other old fashioned treats.

Sugar Britches is also offering you the opportunity to be a founding member of their old-fashioned candy store, and they are sweetening the pot by offering special deals for those that donate funds to insure their success. For example you can get a year's worth of candy for a donation of $1,000 at their website sugarbritches.co.

Talk about a sweet deal, but you know what makes it even sweeter? Winning the donation money from Q98.5! Don't forget that we have 2 chances for you to win $1,000 on-air each week day in November, not to mention the $10,000 jackpot available right here on this website! Better get signed up for that right now...
