Santa Claus is coming to town! Here's how you can track the jolly ole elf thanks to our NORAD Defense Command on Christmas Eve to make sure you're fast asleep at the right time.

Thanks again to the North American Aerospace Defense Command -- or NORAD -- at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado, you'll be able to track Santa and you'll see exactly where he is this Christmas Eve. This has been an annual tradition for many families, including my own, since the birth of my kids.

According to The Huntington Post, "It's the 60th year the base has used its radars, satellites and fighter jets to track Saint Nick's Yuletide journey".

Parents, children, and those young at heart, can log onto NoradSanta.org from 1:01 a.m. Rockford time on Christmas Eve to see "Santa Cam" videos of the jolly gift-giver preparing his sleigh and reindeer for the ride ahead. Plus there are numerous other interactive chambers to explore while you wait for Santa to arrive.

This year, the NoradSanta.org site is more complete than I have ever seen it. Prepare to spend a few minutes trying all the interactive workshops at Santa's Village.

I have tracked Santa in the past thank to NoradSanta and I can testify it's a great use of tax payers money for such a special night.
