Chris Johnson, former Tennessee Titans and New York Jets running back was shot in the shoulder in a drive-by shooting Sunday, according to the NFL Network.

The report says that Johnson and two other individuals were traveling in a Jeep that was fired upon early Sunday morning. The driver of the Jeep was killed.

The victims said that an unknown vehicle pulled beside them at a red light and opened fire. According to police, the incident took place at 4:09 a.m. ET and indicates that the driver of the Jeep has passed away.

Chris Johnson is recovering in an Orlando hospital. The other surviving passenger was in “stable” condition. The NFL network reports that no arrests have yet been made.
