New Video Surfaces of a Black Bear in Rockford

There has been yet another sighting of a black bear roaming around Rockford.

Video surfaced today of what appears to be a black bear sitting in a patch of tall grass between a field and residential houses in Rockford.

The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office has be investigating black bear sightings in the area since the weekend. There also have been reports of black bears being spotted in both Freeport and Stockton in recent days.
