The Rockford Police department has released new photos of three suspects wanted for an attempted Rockford bank robbery that occurred on Tuesday.

According to Rockford Police, on Tuesday Police were called to Harvard State Bank on Eastrock Drive for an attempted bank robbery. Police say:

Employees were working inside the bank when an employee observed three subjects walk up to the bank from the northwest, wearing masks and with their faces covered. The bank employee hurried over to the entry door and locked it. Seconds later two subjects wearing a hoodie pulled tight over their faces and the other wearing a mask, walked up to the door and were unable to gain entry. Once they were unable to gain entry they ran to the northwest. Bank employees immediately contacted the police.

The suspects are described as follows:

  • Suspect #1 was described as a black male, late teens to early 20s, 5'11" tall, 210 pounds, wearing shorts, a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, white gloves and a white clown mask.
  • Suspect #2 was described as a black male, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt (with the hood pulled over his face, a black mask (with bluish color streaks outlining the contours, 5'10"-6'0" tall, 160-170 pounds.
  • Suspect #3 was described as an unknown race male, with a black colored hooded sweatshirt pulled over his face, 5'10"-6'0" tall, 160-170 pounds.
