NEW BOSS FOR RAVE

According to our partners at WTVO, RAVE has announced the new General Manager in charge of bringing acts to three of Rockford's downtown venues. He comes to the Stateline from New Jersey and starts Monday.

The Rockford Area Venues and Entertainment Authority tapped Troy Flynn as its new General Manager and Executive Director. Flynn, most recently served as the Vice President of Operations for the Prudential Center in New jersey. He had been in that position at the Prudential Center since 2010. Flynn officially started in Rockford on Monday, June 30, 2014.

Flynn says he'd like to bring in multiple day events to the BMO Harris Bank Centre.

He replaces the outgoing GM and Exec. Director Gordon Kaye.  Kaye resigned to be with his family in Colorado earlier in 2014.
