Need a Job? FedEx is Building in Rockford

Winnebago County and FedEx have come to an agreement to build a new facility in Rockford.

The future facility along with Rockford’s UPS and CONWAY FREIGHT facilities could soon make the Forest City a Midwestern hub.

The new building will be at Rock 39 Industrial Park located at I-39 and Baxter Road. The project that has been in the works for years will cost up to $20 million to develop, and create about 150 jobs.

According to our news partners WTVO, A FedEx company spokesman says the company is not making any comments about future plans until their next earnings announcement on June 18.
