Navy Pier’s Skating Rink Stays Open Through October

If you didn't get a chance to go ice skating in the outdoors at Navy Pier this summer, well now you have no more excuses not to go. The rink will stay open through October.

You can thank the Chicago Blackhawks for that.

The Blackhawks, according to DNAInfo Chicago, agreed to sponsor the rink now through October 31st. After that the rink will be dismantled and then reassembled indoors Navy Pier for the Winter Wonderfest that begins in December. Which by the way the Blackhawks are sponsors of too.

By the way, the rink is open now through October 31st from Noon to 10PM. Admission is $10 or $15 with skate rental.
