Motorists in Eastern Iowa have reported seeing mysterious “men in black.” along the side of several roadways while driving at night.

KBUR is reporting that sheriff’s officials in Muscatine County are looking for mysterious “men in black” who have been appearing in the dark alongside county roadways in the area.

Reports on social media and to the police, say that the men just stand along the highway and sometimes step onto the road payment as motorists pass.

Needless to say, this is freaking out a lot of people who travel the road at night in Eastern Iowa.  The sightings have been reported on Iowa Highway 22, just west of Muscatine.

This comes on the heels of reports last week of West Quincy, IA resident Jordan Law who what she thought were two human bodies in lying on the side of the road. She pulled over right away and called the police. Then the two “bodies” got up and started running after her. It was teen hoax gone wrong.

According to KBURt:

Muscatine County Sheriff’ C.J. Ryan says no crimes have been connected to the black-clad men or teenagers. But he says they’re engaged in a dangerous activity and could be held criminally or civilly responsible if someone were injured or property were damaged.

School's out and where are the parents?
