Thrillist.com came out with seven facts that you may not have known about about that foamy, tasty creation. I certainly didn't know about some of these.

For instance did you know that beer dates back to 3400 B.C.? It was found in, what we know as, Iran.

Or how about this?  George Washington paid his troops in beer. Well they were partially paid with beer.

Lastly, the fear of an empty beer glass is a real thing.  It's called cenosillicaphobia.
